What You’ll Do
  • Provide individualized 1:1 ABA therapy to children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and related developmental needs in our clinic setting (with occasional services in the home when appropriate).
  • Implement behavior intervention plans and skill acquisition programs designed and supervised by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and/or Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA).
  • Collect and record accurate behavior and skill-acquisition data to track client progress.
  • Complete clear, timely, and professional therapy session notes in accordance with clinical and insurance standards.
  • Maintain strict adherence to the BACB Code of Ethics and STRIVE’s clinical policies.
  • Collaborate effectively with BCBAs, fellow technicians, and the broader clinical team to support each client’s treatment goals.
  • Attend team meetings, supervision, and training sessions focused on client programming, ABA best practices, and professional growth.

Experience & Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Currently pursuing or completed an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
  • Experience working with children preferred.
  • Previous ABA, paraprofessional, or related behavioral support experience highly preferred.
  • Ability to successfully pass all required background checks.
  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification through the BACB is preferred and is eligible for a higher rate of pay.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to remain attentive and engaged with clients at all times to ensure safety and effective treatment.
  • Comfortable with sustained physical activity, including interactive floor-based therapy for 30–60 minutes at a time.
  • Ability to participate in therapy activities that may include running, sitting, walking, standing, kneeling, bending, and lifting up to 30–50 pounds as needed to support clients.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify behavioral and skill-acquisition needs and develop individualized, center-based treatment plans.

In this role, you will work within local school settings as a STRIVE employee under contract, partnering with school districts to support students, educators, and school teams.
This position offers a high level of flexibility, with services delivered primarily within school environments and remote work for planning, documentation, and collaboration, while remaining fully integrated into the STRIVE clinical team.
Role Overview
As a School-Based BCBA at STRIVE, you will:
  • Partner with school districts, administrators, teachers, and support staff to develop and implement effective behavioral supports.
  • Provide behavioral consultation, assessment, and intervention for students with a range of learning, emotional, and behavioral needs.
  • Support teachers and school teams through coaching, modeling, and evidence-based behavior strategies.
  • Collaborate with families, school staff, and STRIVE leadership to ensure consistency and meaningful outcomes.
